That said, there are numerous mounting plates to fit most trailer frames. The big hurdle here is the included instructions. If not, expect it to only take about an hour to get the job done.
Installation is easy, especially if you’re familiar with installing trailer guides. If you have a larger frame trailer, you can upgrade to a larger sized kit. The mounting kit contains everything you’ll need to get it attached. The rollers are sturdy and support your boat well. The uprights sit up high enough to offer a good line of sight. They resist normal corrosion but in saltwater you’ll have trouble. The steel is zinc-coated so please, only use this in freshwater. That’s pretty decent for a medium sized boat. That means you get up to 14″ (3″ trailer frame) or 16″ (2″ trailer frame) of horizontal adjustment. The heavy duty roller guides are second to none. You may pay a little more for Extreme Max but they’re worth it.
